Shopping Paradise Vienna
Vienna is really a paradise for those loving shopping. Beside the Mariahilfer Strasse and the Kärntner Strasse, the two biggest shopping streets in Vienna, there are other 75 so called "Shopping Streets". These are streets or quarters with a high concentration of shops of any kind.

The bordering "Shopping-City-Süd", the largest shopping
center in Europe, offers on a surface of nearly
230.000 m2 more than 350 shops, warehouses,
restaurants and other localities consolidated.
Outlet-Center Parndorf
The McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Parndorf is situated east of Vienna, along the highway A4 to Budapest. From the hotel it is approximately 40 min. to drive there.
General information
Generally shops are opened monday till friday from 9.30 am till 7.00 pm. On locally different weekdays there is one long shopping day when shops are opened till 9.00 pm. In the Shopping City Süd the thursday is the long shopping day. On saturday shops close at 6.00 pm. Shops remain closed on sundays and holidays with one exception - december 8.
