Vösendorf - so near to Vienna
When hearing this slogan you can recognize already how near we are to Vienna. There are countless sights, museums and buildings to discover in Vienna. The easiest way to experience the city is the Vienna-Card, available for you at our reception. With this card you cannot only use all public transports in Vienna for 72 hours, but receive also many coupons for reductions of entrance fees and other goodies. In case you want to experience Vienna by car, you can also rent a portable navigation system at the reception. The easternmost end of the Alps - the Vienna Woods
The alps span from the Côte d'azur in France to the Danube in Vienna. The easternmost end of the alps are the Vienna Woods. Many sagas and legends tell stories about this wild romantic, hilly and well-wooded area. Today the Vienna Woods are mainly THE recreation area of the Viennese. Why not discover this landscape with all its sights, like the monastery of Heiligenkreuz, the "Seegrotte" with the largest subterranean lake in Europe, the former hunting lodge Mayerling where Crown Prince Rudolf and his beloved Mary Vetsera committed suicide or finally the city of Baden, founded already by the romans.
