The children's city
Minopolis is an innovation. It is the first and only city in Europe that was designed especially for children, and it's located right in the centre of Europe in Vienna. Streets, places, houses, cars, - everything looks just like it does in the normal 'grown up' world, only smaller. In an area of 6000 m² children aged between 4 and 12 can play-act the different aspects of an adult's social and working life.
Minopolis has its own infrastructure, its own economy and even its own currency! The life of the numerous enthusiastic inhabitants is played out in and between the different stations. The children, who are accompanied by qualified carers (child-coaches), are able to simply slip into the various roles. From a doctor or a cameraman to a train driver - there are over 80 important and popular professions that are just waiting to be tried out.
